THIS EVENT WAS RESCHEDULED FROM MARCH 18th due to RAIN IN THE FORECAST.
PFP families are invited to meet up on Saturday afternoon, March 25th in West Philadelphia’s Clark Park for an afternoon of play. Meet at 1pm at the turtle on the side of the park between Baltimore and Chester Avenues near the Farmer’s Market. (The market is open from 10am-2pm.)
Older kids may want to take part in the LARPing (foam sword battle) that takes place there while any families with younger kids may want to cross the street to the two playgrounds next to the bowl. (They provide the foam swords. Kids who take part range in age from scrappy 3-4 year olds up to teenagers. It’s a loosly organized event, but does have rules and young adults in charge.)
At 3pm, those interested could gather again at the turtle for a picnic snack or head over to the nearby Clarkville or Green Line Cafe.
RSVP to PFP Director Stephanie Haynes if you want her to look for you.
