LGBTQ Interracial Couples Brunch

Do you want to get together with other families similar to yours? Do you want to talk about the challenges and joys of raising children that may not be a part of either parent’s racial upbringing?

When you’re out in public, do people assume one of you is the nanny? Does one (or both) of your families consider you a “sell out” or crazy? Are you excited to raise children with a different awareness of race than you had when you were young?

Do you want your kid(s) to grow up knowing more families that look like yours?

Yep – it’s complicated, and wonderful! Let’s meet up and talk about all the things.

Open to all LGBTQ parents and prospective parents, and all children are welcome too.

This brunch will be hosted by PFP members Dara and Helena at their home in West Philly. Please RSVP with dietary restrictions and ages of any kids attending to millerberry@gmail.com.
